How to Use:
Aquaeaz Biopellets can be placed in canister filters, overflow filters, Wet/Dry filters, fluidized reactors, or simply can be placed into a media bag in any water filtration chamber, and the substrate feeds many heterotrophic bacterial strains that consume organic compounds.
For good aerobic denitrification, one should maintain sufficient water flow through the Aquaeaz Biopellets to prevent production of hydrogen sulfide gas. Employ strong water circulation, aeration, and/or a surface skimming overflow in the aquarium to maintain high levels of oxygen saturation when using this product.
Measure/Calculate the size best suited for your system:
30 gallon tank suggested amount – volume = 0.5 cup (120 ml) or weight = 0.2 lbs.
55 gallon tank suggested amount – volume = 1.0 cup (235 ml) or weight = 0.4 lbs.
125 gallon tank suggested amount – volume = 2.5 cups (600 ml) or weight = 1.0 lb.
300 gallon tank suggested amount – volume = 5.5 cups (1,300 ml) or weight = 2.5 lbs.
300-500 gallon ponds – use 3.0 lbs.
1,000-2,500 gallon ponds – use 10 lbs.
3,000-10,000 gallon ponds – use 25 lbs.
12,000-25,000 gallon ponds – use 50 lbs.
Note: a little goes a long way, and the pellets will take ~1-4 weeks for the process to start. Aquaeaz Biopellets work naturally with No harmful chemical additives. The addition of beneficial bacteria will only help kick-start the process. Replenish Aquaeaz Biopellets every 3-6 months or as needed. You will now have water quality that previously could ONLY be obtained by frequent water changes, expensive giant protein skimmers, GFO and Activated Carbon.
Additional Note: BioPellets work really good and the bacteria that they grow strips the water of most all its nutrients, so if you do use Biopellets – ease into dosing them in an established tank at about half the recommended dosage. No sudden changes to your system is best, and continually test your water quality to make sure your limits are where you want them to be. We also recommend using a Protein Skimmer to help remove any particulates not helpful to your system.

Aquaeaz and C-Weed Company will warrant all Aquaeaz BioPellet products to be free from manufacturing defects for one year from the original purchase date when purchased through the Aquaeaz website www.aquaeaz.com. This warranty does not cover any damages caused by misuse, neglect, alterations or improper handling/transport/maintenance/installation.
